Thanks, Andrew. Good advice. The sheep-dip helped SOME, but didn't put the problem entirely to rest. So, today I'm pulling the tank and I'll secure everything that moves! Yesterday evening, while riding, I started wondering if the speedo noise might not just be the cable itself. Maybe I need to pull it, clean it and grease it? Never done that before, but it seemed to make a certain sense to me. But then, maybe it was the big dinner and the beer I had just consumed...hmmmm. Thanks again.
